Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

This section is still under construction. Check back for updates. img What do the animals sound like?

Most of the animals sound like my "inner voice" talking. (It’s the same type of voice you hear right now as you are reading these words.) Sometimes, I will hear a distinct voice. In those cases, it’s usually a reflection of the animal’s personality. For example, I once communicated with a dog who spoke like a famous cartoon dog. After the session was over, his human mom told me that his personality matched that of the cartoon dog!

img Do the animals speak in English?

I hear them speak in English because English is my native tongue. My spirit guides translate the information they receive from the animals and give it to me in a form I can understand. Sometimes, it’s in words or sentences, other times it’s in pictures, video clips, or feelings. I tend to take lots of notes, so my guides like to give me information I can write down and pass on to the animals’ human parents.

img Can you talk with wild animals?

Yes. I’ve spoken with deer, mice, ducks, Canada geese, songbirds, and several wild-caught zoo animals like elephants, dolphins, lions, and tigers.

img Can you talk with insects?

Yes. I’ve spoken with spiders, flies, cicadas, and butterflies.

img How do you know that the communications are real? Or that you aren’t making things up?

This took a LONG time for me to accept! My scientific mind just couldn’t believe that I was communicating with animals on a spiritual level. I NEEDED proof! Well, the proof lies in "validations." When I speak with animals, I usually get specific information or thoughts that I KNOW I didn’t think up. The words and phrases sound strange, are funny, or are shocking to me. Sometimes the words I hear are not part of my vocabulary or are combinations of words. After a communication session is over, I take the information and share it with the animal’s guardians. They provide me with feedback and validate what their animal has told me. For example, I spoke with a dog who claimed to eat "fruit salad." I didn’t think dogs ate fruit, but when I told dog’s guardian he liked the fruit salad she gave him, she confessed that she sliced up fruit and mixed it in with his kibble!

A personal example came from my own bird. Ollie, a female pied cockatiel, injured her foot and needed to stay overnight at the vet’s office. I left the building before the doctors put a splint-type boot on her foot (see picture at right). On my way home, I stopped at a restaurant, and while I was waiting for my food, I heard, "Two ladies flipped me on my back. They tied something to my leg. I can’t get it off." I was shocked at first, then realized it was a message from Ollie, so I told her it was ok. Shortly afterward I heard, "I picked it off my foot." When I finally got home, the vet called with an update. She said that Ollie had picked the first splint off her foot shortly after they had wrapped it up, so they were going to rewrap her foot. How’s that for a validation?

img Do animals have secrets?

Oh, yes! They do! Sometimes they will ask me if I want to hear their secrets, other times, they will tell me without asking.

img Do animal spirits survive death?

I have no doubt that animal spirits survive physical death. I am able to have conversations with animals who have passed away. During our conversations, they provide validations and send love and comfort to their human guardians. They talk about what they learned on Earth and what they are planning to do next.

img What happens after an animal dies?

I use a shamanic technique called "Tracking" to follow animal spirits after they leave the physical body. Each journey is unique, but they do have common features. The animals first show me some type of transportation vehicle, like a train or plane, to indicate they are leaving or "going away" from Earth. The trip usually ends at a cloud-like place with buildings. The animals are met by spiritual guides who help them acclimate to their new surroundings. If animals need healing, they are taken to a hospital. Sometimes I see them taken to a spa-like facility for relaxation. Their guides review Earth life with them to see what they learned and accomplished.

I also see the animals "take off their suits" and change into a human-like spirit form. They’ve explained to me that their outer skins are like costumes that aren’t needed anymore in the spiritual world. I am still able to recognize them, however. After this, the animals meet up with their friends and families and "go to school" to learn things or prepare for their next incarnation. I frequently see them having fun in outdoor situations or studying in library-like places.

img Do animals reincarnate?

Animals like to talk about "coming back" (to Earth). I initially had a very difficult time accepting this concept because I didn’t believe in reincarnation. The animals, however, talk about what THEY want to talk about, regardless of MY beliefs! Some animals tell me about past lives, while others discuss future plans. Zoie, one of my finches who had a very short life, told me she was planning to come back again. She said that, "Father Time wants me to go back, too." Apparently they "shook hands and made a deal" for Zoie to come back again.

img Will I see my animal when I die?

I personally have not spoken with any animals whose humans have passed away, but I believe you will be reunited with your animals, families, and/or friends when your physical body dies. I’ve heard stories of human/animal reunions after death and have seen images of animals living with their spiritual families. One horse told me he was with his uncles and aunts, but he did not specify if they were human or equine. My own bird, Lily, said she met "spiritual daddies" after she passed away. Zoie (see above) said two "spiritual mommies" explained things to her after she died.

img Do animals believe in God?

The reference to "God" has come up in a number of my communication sessions. My own bird, Finchy, told me that her mate, Vinny, was, "a gift from God." A wild Cedar Waxwing bird called itself a "Messenger of God." One rescued horse referred to his caregiver as a "Godsend," while another referred to her caregiver as a "Goddess." In general, there seems to be some concept and awareness of an overall, higher-level spiritual entity.
